This would have made an awesome TV series. I have read the books and I feel that this should have been the next series instead of Enterprise. It would have been different and a fresh challenge.

@NovaScotiaNewfie - The Excelsior and Miranda class were in service for what seemed like forever. Considering the size, time, and cost to build one *If they were real that is* Starfleet would probably try and keep them in service as long as possible.

They should have a series about the Enterprise-C

Wouldn't that class of ship have been retired by the time Shelby was commander? As seen in TNG the crew of the Enterprise C still had the TOS movie style uniforms? Not sure how many years before the Galaxy class/ Enterprise D.

I wish there would be a Tv show of New Frontier. Considering there are Books, comics and action figures the only thing left to do is actually make a show.
