Sandra Bernhard (the waitress) is sooo hilarious. I loved it when she said to Maria, "What are you, a whacko?!!", just because Maria asked if there was anything strange about the Tossed Salad. Yet, the waitress works in a Grouch Diner where everything is whacko.

Also, the Health Inspector must be a Grouch, otherwise, the Diner would have been shut down a long time ago.
