Diahann Carroll was and still is such a beautiful and classy woman. No one will ever compare. Halle Berry....keep dreaming!!!! You will NEVER reach Ms. Carroll status in my book. It's so unfortunate that so many of the images we see in television, music and film over 40 years later are degrading over the top caricatures that depict black women as loud and obese (i.e., Tyler Perry/Martin Lawrence movies) or as low-class video ass shakers. Thank you Ms. Carroll for your sophistication.

For the longest time I'd even forgotten about this show. I remember really liking it as a kid. Thanks for posting it.

A classic show, great memories of watching this as a kid with the family. Thanks for uploading it TheCinemastudio. Hope they release it on DVD one day!

I learned so much about the struggles of black people by watching Julia...

Interesting. This is the only that I have ever seen Robert Gulliane young and thin.

My father in Ohio was plumb annoyed my little brother and I loved this show so much. We memorized the names of the actors and would recite 'em like little clowns. This was total escapism, and no, we were not raised in front of the TV, it was the library, bikes and yard work for us to blow off our energy, but wow, TV used to be so fun! I was analytical and looked at the presentation, listened to the music. I don't even own a TV so I doubt I was brainwashed, or was I? Hee hee hee! Uprated.

love the dialogue between the 3 little boys. "this is the only banana I got". "thats the only banana I want". lol

I agree Eric. Classy is mostly a thing of the past, rude and crude that's the name of the tune today.

Wait...I believe that distinction goes to Moosie Drier.

Broken comedy :D
Not sure where you got your info on the date, but 'Julia' was on the air from 1968 until 1971 (not 72) and this second season episode was first broadcast on September 23, 1969.
