getting your teeth cleaned is like putting on a new pair of shoes, or a nice suit. It feels great afterwards, get your teeth cleaned, you'll be happy even if you don't have lots of buildup.

how do I find a microsonic operator in the St. Louis Area?
-
@leonidasgr2003 Yeah, I can tell they feel very clean today and my gumline feels even stronger/firmer. Maybe the only reason I bled was because I hadn't had it done before and I was almost 3 months overdue for a regular cleaning.

@SprecheDeutsch but i suppose it is faster and painless from the scratcing tool ... so its better i think
by the way , i have plaque at the same spots ...

@leonidasgr2003 I just had this procedure done on me today. I'm an American who moved to Germany in January this year and had some trouble getting some German health insurance coverage, but finally got it last month under my husband's company. Anyway, I was due for my half-year cleaning in June, so the dentist in our village used this since I was overdue and had some plaque on my bottom middle teeth. It was quick, but a bit painful, and could taste blood in my mouth. But insurance paid 100%.
so , how much does usually cost to have my teeth cleaned with ultra sonic ?
will it hurt ??

@leonidasgr2003 this technique is typically much more comfortable than the old, barbaric scraping that we used to do. The cost varies with the cost of a cleaning in any given office.

are dentist suppose to give you anesthetics before this procedure?

@pugskreationz this instrument is typically used without local anesthetics. Sometimes patients prefer a topical anesthetic but not normally. For deep cleaning to treat gum disease, local anesthetic is commonly used.

@perieau and sonic toothbrush can not remove stains, plaque>???
folladordeprostis 6 months ago
@folladordeprostis sonic brushes seem to be able to reduce stain in SOME cases and they certainly do remove plaque but only where the bristles touch the tooth. You still need to be effective as there is no particular magic to "sonic".
