  • Man, You US/Continental citizens are so so so FORTUNATE!!!,At least Beck toured here in 2008/9 but, I would have given anything[almost!]to see this line up!Also Zeppelin,Yes,Rush.Zep toured once in 72 when I was 8![tad too young perhaps?]Yes,one gig 1 thousand miles away that was so unpromoted it was almost "secret"!And Rush Never, their records were ONLY available on Import.I feel like Australia is not only "down under" but, in another Solar System!ENJOY!

  • That was so awesome! Holy Shit!

  • Saw Jeff on the " There and Back " album tour, the album which this track is off of and got taken backstage by a security officer only because I had stepped over a roped off area to get a drink from a water fountain. He caught me and I was like " Oh shit, I'm going to jail ". He goes " Do you like Jeff Beck ? ". I was all " Hell yes I like Jeff Beck ". Come with me, he said. Took me to an area directly above the stage reserved for security and guests only. Had a blast.

  • baD Ass

  • if you didnt see it,bummer

  • @ObSunVid Yep, the drums sound pretty bad here. I guess it's a combination of bad sound engineering (perhaps some failed attempts at triggering or gated reverb FX - which would be a non-issue nowadays) and a worn out video tape (vhs, betamax?). Simon Phillips' playing kicks ass as usual anyway.

BTW: love the typical Jan Hammer phrasing and the great sound - sounds kind of Moog-ey to me. Awesome!

  • Does anybody hear the Miami Vice theme as well?

  • all respect to Mahavishnu Orchestra!

  • @orangefunk I think you may be right. The Lync controllers were closely based on the Probe and looking now I can see the Probe legend just near his left hand.
