GTA IV - Damage mod - Realistic kills - Download link

A new mod I have made, the changes i have made are:
(Chest/Abdominal area shots, head shots will ofc end in 1 shot kills, and leg/arm shots will ofc do less than base damage)

* Higher bullet damage - resulting in more lethal weapons and realistic damage
* Lower bullet impact force - resulting in more realistic hits and deaths...no more flying bodies.
* Lowered the maximum ammo for all guns to 100-300 bullets...u really cannot carry 150 AK mags with you lol.

The damage is obviously raised to make the weapons do realistic damage, u will not survive 5 pistol shots in real life. And equally a bullet will not throw u backwards in real life, and it doesn't any more with this mod.

Just copy and replace your WeaponInfo.xml found in Rockstargames\Grand Theft Auto IV\Common\Data

it has been slightly edited, pistols and submachineguns now do a base damage of 45, deagle do 80 percent damage, shotguns, assault rifles do 90-100 percent damage per bullet, and sniper rifles still kill instantly.

in the actual unmoded game people survive a shotgun headshot quite often. but i think thats a bug though, due to the scatter effect of the shotgun.

You do realize that an M4 is NOT made to kill, especially in one shot, right?!? Ask my brother, who is a veteran of the U.S. Army (Medically discharged at the rank of Sergeant), he will tell you that the M4 Carbine with standard 7.62 NATO rounds was a weapon designed to maime -- not kill.
