The ANSWER Coalition held a press conference on Aug. 20, 2007, in Washington, D.C., at the law office of the Partnership for Civil Justice. It announced its filing of a Federal lawsuit against the District of Columbia government, which is attempting to impose a draconian $10,000 fine on the organization for placing posters around the District to promote its Sept. 15, 2007 antiwar rally.
