Clark and Lana were a couple then they starting to linger towards other people Lana and Oliver and Clark and Lois but they realized they couldn't be with anyone but each other.

She stayed with Lex because shewanted to know about the aliens the ship and all his secret research he was hiding she was basically playing along to spy on him if you watched the show carefully you would know that. She slept with him because if she didnt he would think she didnt have feelings for him.

She married Lex because Lionel blackmailed and had no idea about Bizarro, who had the same emotions, memories and affection for Lana as Clark did. How could you blame her for both of those. Stop blaming the victim! Lana was just a casuality of the Superman mythos and cruel SV writing.
Clana went through so much and were forced apart only to come together, again and again. Why? Because they true soulmates.

I get such joy out of seeing Lana kick Lois through that window. Thanx SV for that. And i love seeing Clark drop Lois like a bag a rocks when Lana came back. I am sure he would do it again too.

The only time Lana slept with Lex was early in their relationship, early S9. When Lex faked her pregancy I doubt she would have slept with him again. She was torn about it all. And then around Crimson her feelings and curiousity about Clark returned and Promise proved how much she loved Clark and lost love for Lex. Lana only sleeps with those she knows and love. Sadly two of those men deceived and manipulated her.
