this is kid's stuff. theyre just hangin out, something people do in the south and other places, the old guy with the chair, thats his life, to sit with his friends
where are the needles? muggings? take downs by undercover cops? drive bys? crack deals gone wrong?
this is a p icture of down on their luck folk just passing time with little expectation of anything else. something we could all learn a little bit from.

San Francisco is a lovely city, But it will never reach its full potential with scenes like this right around the corner from the cities major tourist and shopping district. Its just very sad.
