I hate to be contrarian to the Vista and IE bashing that's been prevalant over the internet but IE8 rocks. Im running vista64 on a quad core with 8gigs of RAM. i've been using IE8 for about two weeks now and the added functionality, stability and speed is much improved. Even if chrome or Firefox can be faster than IE8, the difference in speed is quite frankly...negligible.
