A maintence robot with low battery discovers he's missing the bottom half of his face and sets off on a short lived journey to find the missing piece.

This is my final year film made by Phil Paris Zarcilla (@Philthy_Truth) and Semir Saleh
It took a crapping 8months to make hope you like it.

  • Don't be so rude man...you may know better, but there's no point in pointing out the obvious...especially in such hostile manner. 01kaze has a lot of potential, and given the right direction can do really well.

    Well done 01kaze! +1

  • its really good :)

too bad the bot is not solar powered xD

  • Very cool

  • Sad ;(

  • @MrMashetty no artist should be restricted to a specific genre because of the medium by which the create. any medium can convey anything. it's not doing anyone any harm. I like this film personally. robotics are best displayed using 3D in my opinion.

  • @3DRenderForce if you find this kind of thing "boring and crappy" then take your limited taste somewhere you find more appealing and don't bother leaving demeaning and dismal comments.

  • Would you be interested in making a music video?

  • @MrMashetty I believe just because you have no deeper messages to convey to the world, you should not condemn those who do feel they have some kind of purpose in life.

  • Concur on beautiful-poetic even. CG animation applied to high art. Have sweet tooth for this nonetheless congratulations.

    .."crapping 8 months" though?

If took 8 years as long as learn from it then worth time (was that 8 crapping 24/7?) plus a finish product to reference/study. Well done. Savor that crapping.

  • i believe 3d animation should be used not to convey any message but for pure kick ass entertainment....leave the messaging to old duddes and documentries...im a 3d artiste too

  • I'm sorry, but this is very boring and crappy.

You may think that i don't get the "deeper meaning" of the animation. No, I get it. I understand the "meaning" but it is still boring and crappy. All the time and effort that was put into this long and not so good animation could have been used to make a short and amazing animation.

Oh well, this video is old, so you guys are prolly way better by now.
