one question... is the image stabilization feature "on" at all time? or is there a way to turn it off?

@vuhoangdung The stabilization is being calculated on the fly by using data from the gyroscope, and the fact that the 8MP sensor is clearly large enough that they can do some overscan (recording larger than 1080p). The data combined with the ability to shift the image slightly results in a stabilized image.

Image stabilization makes all the difference when shooting video. It looks more professional.
