I spelt the name of that book I mentioned above wrong. It's actually "Krieg dem Krieg" - which translates as "War on War". I hope you never have to kill children. Or somebody else's adult child - no matter what twisted notion you were brought up to accept about freedom and the fight to retain it entails.

Read Kriig Dem Krieg (look it up) and understand the true nature of war and peace and how church, state and industry work together on all fronts in all countries to continue the madness. Every soldier in every country believes as you do for their country, god or ambition. It's sad and proves the point I make. By the way that means that you are not protecting my right to even have this conversation. I'm not American or living there.

so your saying that any person serving in the united states forces will have to make a choice such as that? when you join the military, you make an oath to protect the constitution from all threats foreign and domestic, that means that i would be protecting your right to even have this conversation. and im joining the Army becuase i'd rather be part of something bigger than financial success. freedom isn't free, it takes men to fight for it every day in both the capitol and the trenches.

All I can say is if the day comes and you have to fire a rocket at a house full of children I hope you know you are doing it to make fat old men fatter and richer and your freedom dies the day you do that for them. Freedom isn't measured by how much you have in the bank or oil in your engine...it's choice. Freedom to choose. Maybe you;d be better off in that commune in Nebraska. Your obvious intelligence would be better served helping mankind than being part of the military that'll hurt them.

and as such, we must accept this reality. No matter how sad it is, these are the cards we are dealt, our only three options are to serve the machine, excel in it or accept it. Our Society sucks, but to me, it beats working in a commune in the middle of Nebraska. I just applied for West Point today because i feel that the little freedoms we have are still worth protecting. we are cheated in life from birth, but we also have opportunities that are ancestors never dreamed of.

THey are the major economic powers of the world because they play at being the good guys but excel in being the bad guys - without the knowledge or approval of their own peoples. Islamists fight for inane beliefs - the Anglo American angle is business and control of energy. Wait until the China gets going then we'll see who is the economic power. Future conflict will be about wealth and control, like ancient conflict. Nothing changes. It's onlt the swords and arrows that get bigger. Sad.
