This commercial has great potential because the Dixie Chicks are great singers. I don't even notice the "intentional" "bad" singing they do, but I think Sandra ruins it. They might be purposefully singing poorly, but she's just being obnoxious.

Wow, I'd forgotten about my comment 11 months ago! -Yeah you're right -definitely! -I'm a big fan of Sandra (even thought I think she goes TOO FAR sometimes!) I thought this was a fun and creative commercial.

Why are you coming at Whiteney and Jennifer (both of which we KNOW can sing)? The didn't have anything to do with this...I like the DC too, but if I were defending them I'd do it without dragging others into it...you know?

With the "mixing" Natalie Maines gets, you could make a dog sound like pavaratti. Get real, you dumb fuck. Their regular mixer didn't get to work on this ad. A trained professional used to working with real singers did, and this is what you get. The girls sing great. Natalie Maines sounds sick in real life. I know, I've heard her. Oh, she can carry a tune, but her voice cracks. She sounds like a 40 year smoker.

for those of you saying they cant sing, go to their version of 'star spangled banner'.
they CAN sing. that is the best rendition of the SPB. and unlike whitney or jennider hudson, they WERENT lip syncing.
