But the key difference between you and I is that I went looking and bought one, so I suppose the motivation was already there.

Decades ago, my dad inherited one from his dad. He didn't find it addictive either. When I tried it back then, I only got it started once or twice and couldn't keep it going for long. It's pretty cake now though.

I've used one before and I don't find them to be very addictive.
