@TheG1NG3 Thats the biggest pile of pish I've ever heard. When you hear Paulo Nutini sing can you instantly tell he's from Glasgow? Or When Fran Healy sings you can tell he's from Glasgow? KT Tunstall, Justine Currie, Mike Scott, Marti Pellow. You mean to tell me all their voices carry a scottish identity. The reason these new bands like Twin Atlantic sing with scottish accents are because people like The Twilight Sad and Glas Vegas made it trendy to do so!

@elmington Like BlarghMonsta said, when someone sings, you can easily tell where they're from. And this isn't emphasised, when you hear us (Scottish people) sing we still have a heavy accent. It's not a "neutral accent", and most definitely not American, that's just mad.

@elmington while they're probably trying to emphasise the Scottish accent, not everyone can avoid singing with their accent. I'm Australian, and whenever I sing (which is rarely because I sound like a dying moose) it's in an unavoidable Aussie accent.
