Were the Vikings all about battles, plunder, swords and axes? History tells us they were fierce warriors whose very name struck fear into the hearts of European tribes. But Vikings haven't been seen for centuries... until now.

As long as the people of Svangard don't build a ship and start raiding the coasts of Europe, it's all right. I've got some Viking blood, and the urge to raid, plunder, pillage and go berserk is something I have to keep in check.

People nowadays have little clue as to how difficult people's lives were in those days. This is actually mentioned in the video, but I think it's hard to really imagine just how difficult it must be. It's easy to sit in front of a computer and romanticize the situation and say, "Oh the modern world is so f---ed; I want to live there" but as the guy said, just keeping one's self warm is a challenge.
