Understand that the officer received intel through the radio that this is a carreer criminal. He told the officer he had only a DUI arrest yet he had several drug related offences. Hence why he asked the person to step out and to search him and his car. I don't understand why they cut out that part of the audio but it portraying a bad view.

watchin this repeatedly he WASN'T TRYING TO RUN! He is a big man & the force of the taz made him fall into traffic. Yet the stupid officer kept tazing him, he's pleading & down! Excessive force & the police should lose they job! this is bogus & pray the guys family takes action. whoever uploaded this video thinking it was cute should be investigated too!

The officer didn't almost kill the suspect, The suspect made the decision to take flight and attempt to flee the officer... His taser was already drown and he was forced to take action.

@MissNeisyBlair he was pulled over for going 76 in a 70 zone also if you watch like you say you did at 3:10 he turns and runs thats when you hear the taser pop. the dtf officer was justified in every thing he did.

Officer did a great job.... Fuck all the negative replies.... Yea, the dumbass almost got killed when he fell into traffic but maybe he should of thought about it before he RAN. What would have been a simple drug charge almost cost him his life.... Thats what I call a dumb mother fucker......
