Kimber Solo vs. Kahr PM9

This is a comparison of the Kimber Solo and Kahr PM9. Both weapons are small compact pocket pistols in the 9mm Luger Caliber. Both weapons have excellent triggers, sights, magazines and grip angle. However, they are expensive when compared to other pocket 9mms.

The external safeties as well as the magazine release buttons on the Kimber are ambidextrous. Kimber clearly did not want the southpaws to feel left out.

springfield xds is slimmer then both and is a .45apc!!! say what????

@12sick4x4 It is slightly slimmer but is taller, longer and heavier. I hope to get one for review as soon as possible. You can never go wrong with a .45 ACP.

Thanks for the comparison, Russ! I am in the market for a micro compact 9mm, to hopefully replace the BodyGuard .380 as my EDC gun. I appreciate the info and look forward to a range vid :)

Good review. After shooting both I prefer the Kahr, but then again Iv'e never been accused of liking Kimber. Thanks for sharing.

@OilTheGun I'm the opposite. I like shooting the Solo better. However, there maybe other reasons why I would carry the PM9 over the Solo though.
