Saito-Goma ／ Kizo-in Temple, Nara （喜蔵院／採燈大護摩供）

Kizo-in Temple is an old temple in Yoshinoyama, Nara Prefecture.
Bonfire ritual called "Saito-Goma" is held in front of "Kotobuki Inari" on the first Sunday in December.
"Kotobuki Inari" enshrined in this temple is known as the deity of the fire prevention.
More than 100 yamabushi (Buddhist monk) participate in this ritual to pray for world peace and fire prevention.

奈良県吉野山の喜蔵院に祀られる「寿稲荷大明神」は、
火除けのご利益で知られている。
喜蔵院では、毎年12月に100名を超える山伏が集り
「火難消除」の採燈大護摩供を厳修している。

GOJUIN are very famous 5 SHUGEN temples who are proctecting Mt SANJO since long time ago!

sensei's disciple.

But shugendo is minority religion in Japan.

Even Japanese don't know shugendo very well.
