Orca Dive Club Rebreather Event 24th -- 30th June 2011
Orca Dive Club, PADI 5 Star Resort, were happy to host the rebreather event at there facility in Safaga, Egypt. Rebreather divers and enthusiasts together with manufactures and training agencies met for the first day of activities which included two boat dives at the pristine reefs around Safaga. Jeanett Dressendoerfer, Manager of the Dive centre and Volker Clausen owner of Orca Dive Clubs open the event to all in attendance. Presentations from Poseidon and Green Force were conducted back at the centre after the diving activities.
The event is design to share the latest rebreather technology and provide opportunities for individuals to try the equipment during the week long event. Two boat dives will be conducted each day which will be followed by presentations in the evening from an impressive array of manufactures and agencies including, Submatix RAB, Shearwater, Bomex, rEvo, IART and PADI.
