Ted Martin, thank you for sharing this and other videos of Tsar Nicholas and his family. A very salient fact is evident from these pictures: Nicholas had a close family and he enjoyed them and they enjoyed each other, a real family. Compared to Edward VII or George V of Britain, or Wilhelm of GErmany, or Franz Josef of Austria, they are rarely in photos with their royal children. It may be that Nicholas' family was more important to him than his country, so be it - only they became Saints.
@guydecervens Close, Russia had the fastest growing economy in the world, it exported more oil, that all countries. No one could ignore it, least of all Germany, as their economy was set to pass out the US. It was Russia, ultimately, saved Paris, when the French begged Nicholas to attack, no such gesture was returned, Nicholas thought George as a good friend. Germany focused on having Nicholas removed by spending huge sums on propaganda against him, it's still being quoted here, if you read down
@cholmain But George V and Nicholas were first cousins and they looked more like twins. It sounds like a domestic dispute with the British branch of the family setting up the Jews to kill the Russian branch. They sponsored Lenin, Marx, Trotsky and the Bolsheviks so what did they expect?
@TheRedandwhiteroses What bad mistakes and foolish decisions did Nicholas make? King George V of England blocked the safe passage of Nicholas and his family to Britain, after is was democratically approved by the British parliament. So, what sort of ally was George V really? I would say George was morally responsible for there deaths. Which country now looks foolish would you say? The Tzars were oppressive, but not Nicholas, and that, and much more, was what set him apart from his ancestors.
LOL funny how you talk about how Lenin goes to heaven. We all know that Lenin and Stalin were massmurderers. A estimated 25 million died under these horrific clowns. This number is more than the total jews, and other casulties of the 1st and 2nd world war together. So before you talk of who goes to heaven, have your facts straight, since apparently you don't in the case of the Romanovs. Some countries in the world had dictators and with change because worse. See with Iraq and Afganistan
Thanks
