You don't get as wet on the big drop as you do on a small drop right around the corner (IF you're in the front seat that is). You hear the evil mermaids' voice say "Leaving so soon... I think NOT". Then you drop about 5-6 feet but the water sloshes over the bow of the boat right in your lap!
