Nobody is born one gender or the other, says the philosopher. "We act and walk and speak and talk in ways that consolidate an impression of being a man or being a woman."

Sorry, but i don't think that giving birth and breast feeding etc are mere roles, this is what nature meant for us, i don't see many men trying to find a way to give birth or grow breasts, nature should be left alone and not for some people trying to be what they're not intended to be.

well I can't help you then. I am not one of those feminists who want to take over from men. some prob exist, but not all of us. I do not want to replace patriarchy with matriarchy. I want to get away from our genders dictating our lives. as for whether care giving is more natural for women... I am at a loss. Yes, we give birth. but there are plenty of shit moms and great dads in the world. I believe it has more to do with the person than their gender. you don't. let's just agree to disagree.

I've spoken to many feminists and they don't want equality, they want to rule. I think that we as women who bear the children are naturally equipped to play the motherly caring role, which many feminists would like reversed, it's not natural, take a lesson from the animal kingdom.

actually I said that by claiming to speak for all men, he was making it SEEM as if his own asshole-ish-ness extended to all men, which clearly it doesn't (I actually said "speaking for them and making ALL men sound like..."). apologies for any confusion caused. and actually, patriarchy is the historical system that favours women for certain roles (such as care-givers) and men for others (like the draft) bc of gendered roles. you're free to disagree, but wanting equality isn't greedy to me.

For a start you said that this one man that you argued with made ALL men assholes, now that's sexist. Socondly, we do not live in a patriarchy, if anything, women have more say and privilages than men now, so ease up or we will lose all this by our own greed.

penis envy? um.... no? envious of male privilege within patriarchy? not even. why? bc patriarchy is bad for everyone and hurts everyone, me and you included. but please, let me know where exactly I said something "blatantly sexist". it can be difficult to explain certain concepts without coming off that way at times, but I assure you it was unintentional and, if proven, I am happy to apologize.

Yes, i was just correcting the guy who seemed to be confused about her gender or more likely was just trolling. i wasn't trying to label her or diminish her point of view in any way.
