@MrNewland33 In reference to the over axle pipes? Because the Cobra's for the new edge SN95s come with IRS not a live axle like the GT, so the pipes go UNDER the axle, not over it

@MrNewland33 It's because of the IRS. The exhaust has to route that way bud.

@Predatorbird so those pipes are the original ones or were did u buy em at ?? what did you use to polish them ?i got a 99 cobra too ...with a afm pulley and shorty headers and a dr. gas o/r x pipe and borla stinger mufflers ..but my pipes that come out are dull ....any advise?? thanks ...

why do the pipes drop down so low?

@MrNewland33 Do you mean the angle of the exhaust tips? Idk, I'm guessing it the hanger placement of the Magnaflow pipes.

X pipes do have a different sound depending on the "X" design. UPR has a deeper, smoother sound while Bassani has a more raspy, tin-can type of sound.

A lot of owners don't want to spend the money for a new catback and it's easier to just swap out the mufflers for a different sound. Also, I have SS pipes that I spent 8+ hours polishing so those will stay on no matter what.
