Giant Cuttlefish attack on female dive buddy. Cuttlefish breed and lay their eggs around this time of year - and become very aggressive and "frisky". They are very intellegent and are attracted to "shiny" things such as this torch, and especially anything that is yellow in colour. I motioned to her to switch the torch off, unfortunately she didn't understand and this footage is the result. This is the first time this diver had ever seen a cuttlefish. This cuttlefish followed us for another 20 minutes.

ThaT IS A TINY CUTTLEFISH! not even close to a giant cuttle fish... and yes they can be dangerous if they are really a giant cuttlefish although there has only been one documented death to human.
This IS a Giant Cuttlefish (Sepia apama) - largest species of cuttlefish in the world - the largest get to about 1m, the one in this video is not much smaller than that. If this one is "tiny' what are you comparing it to??
Only if they bite you - they are very curious animals and at this particular time of the year, they are attracted to "shiny" things like her torch - I don't think the cuttlefish would have bitten her.
