i agree, 1988-1997 was when f1 was at it's best, after 1998 to 2008 the cars still looked good but i hated the grooved tires,

2009 the cars look terrible, i'm not sure who comes up with f1 regulations but the front wings are way too wide and the rear wing is way to high, i can barely look at f1 cars today,

jean alesi was one of the best drivers who nearly never won a single race ;-)

he was a very fast driver with exceptional car control but to be honest, he was no winner, i would really have liked to see him winning more...

Well to be honest as most of us grew up with F1 in the 90's and 2000's we may be a bit biased to the cars of our era. Someone who watched F1 in the 50's 60's or 70's may beg to differ. I personally agree with this list.
