@misslewellen We had the utmost pleasure seeing Josh Ritter in Calgary at the Knox United Church! He was FILLED with energy and really enjoyed himself and we utterly enjoyed him! Can you imagine both of these at the same venue? I think I would pass out!

@senchingo That's exactly what i loved too, i never even bothered trying to introduce his music to anyone except the odd very musical and classy person ... now however with that feckin x factor every miley & britney fan on the street knows about him (and known as the fella who sings Little Mix's song) ughh ... at least these rares are safe from them .... hopefully .... ;)

do you know how old this recording is.....I thought this was an old one but seems all the live versions on youtube come from the 9 tour...this is only one not sure of ?/

Him and Glen Hansard were on Simpsons, what you mean not that popular? Damien Rice is very well known, not Radiohead known, but known.
As someone who has listened to underground metal and industrial music for years, and i mean stuff that maybe a few hundred people in the world even know about, trust me its not that great to know something no one else does. What is great is showing people music thats great, and knowing you have shared one of the greatest gifts anyone can have, music.
