theres is are reason why they call it bass GUITAR,not just BASS.
you can get bass from softwere,but can u get THIS ^ from softwere? NO
can u get Wooten,Miller or Claypool from softwere? NO
thats why its called BASS GUITAR, IT IS a GUITAR.

I don't care WHAT they call this instrument. I call it a wanna be bass player playing guitar! If the dude wants to play guitar, why doesn't he just go buy one rather than try to convert a bass to guitar??

That's amazing!! Imagine if there was an amazing Bass player playing bass while Bob was playing the guitar strings on his bass.... that would be like full on song!

The keyboard player was covering the bass line - guess the mix could have been better. Just because you've chosen to play a bass guitar should NOT ban you from playing melodies, melodic solos, or other musical ideas other than bass lines - please open your mind, it's 2009, not 1939 - and they are all bass strings for an extended range bass guitar, not guitar strings. I guess with limited parameters of thinking, maybe a piano should NOT BE ALLOWED to have 88 keys - maybe just an octave or two.
