Now THAT, is a Magyar Princess. The haughtiness, the aristocratic bearing with the Slavic-Hungarian accent, and that final handclap that snaps the audience to attention! Alexandrova destroyed this variation for anybody else. Beautiful reading of a true ballerina role , from a ballerina of the first magnitude. Bravo!

Only the Russian Ballerina knows how to dance Raymonda and this var. in particular. With one non-Russian exception...Cynthia Gregory, when she danced it with Rudy at ABT in 74. Great post Manufa, LOVE IT!!
