Very interesting. An upward draft is created by the stack (holed through double pipes) that provides sufficient flow of air. Rice husks is difficult to burn unless with sufficient supply of air. Impressive.

Very nice stove. It looks very much like a version of the Mayon Turbo Stove that I read about from REAP Canada. On a side note, with all that rain I can see why you put a kettle on
