  • Hi Bani,

Bravo for a wonderful nostalgic and melodious trip to the tunes of UP Beloved and Push on UP! My UP ROTC Bandmate Mike Dadap and brod Jerry Dadap, and Tony Regalario, carilloneurs, must do their encores for us to truly savor those bygone days.

  • Many thanks, Poch, for your help in fund-raising efforts to restore the UP Carillon. These efforts continue not only to have enough resources for its proper maintenance but also to support development of new carilloneurs to succeed the great musical artists that you mentioned.

  • Thank you, Bani, for this video. It brought memories of UP Diliman in the '60s when I'd hear the carillon at 7:00 am and 5:00 pm every day.

  • You are welcome. After years of silence, we'll be able to hear the UP Carillon Bells ring again starting January 8, 2008, the kick-off date of the UP Centennial. Thanks to all who supported the UP Alumni Association in saving & restoring the UP Carillon Tower.

  • I am so grateful to all who have contributed to the restoration of one of the landmarks of UP! Like so many of the comments—I heard the carillon while walking to my classes.

    Great images!

  • Brings back so many memories. As "campus kids" we grew up to this music and heard it everyday. Glad it's back, and it sounds even better, now.

  • Galing po ng mga kuha nyo Brod...iba ang dating ng composition, and you played the available natural light very well...dapat ito gamitin sa U.P. Carillon photo archive..if there is such a thing...

  • Very touching. The visual and the audio, the beat and the rhythm tug at the heartstring, and reverberates with the magical vibration of many long long agos. Thank you for this wondrous summons to remembrances of things past.

  • Thank you for posting this

  • Wow!Really nostalgic. Brings back the good and happy UP days.

  • thanks for sharing this...

  • Nostalgic,at nakakaiyak kasi naala-ala ko ang UAAP games na laging talo ang UP kahit sinong kalaban. Pero, ngumingiti din ako sa tuwa. The music brings me home.
