well... you don' t call these songs folk music.. except alexioy maybe.. i don' t know if you are greek, but in greece we call it "skylolaika", with no real meaning, no quality, just for having fun and dancing when we have already drunk a bottle of wine! your video is very good and definately shows greece as a very attractive place for vacation but that's not folk music. you could try "karagouna" for folk!

By Looking at the picture I see that Greece is a beautifully country and I hope that it can sort its self out of the mess it has come too. The Greek political system is very corrupt and has brought down the whole country.
what is the name of the song at 4 minutes?

@Saandylion It's "Ki allo" by Elli Kokkinou.

Actually the only folks ones are 1 & 9. And number9 in particular is a traditional song from Cyprus. And the version you put here is a remix, not the original. A traditional version is sung by a singer named Violaris. All the other songs are modern laika(=popular).

Thanx for comment! I should tell you those were the entries for a little contest I made. My song was the 1st :) I knew Ta rialia (The money) was a cypriot song cuz they said "tse" instead of "kai"...and Modern Laika was taken as folk, cuz there were other divisions in the contest (pop-rock & fiesta). Big greetz!

I understand now. But how come you had a contest involving Greek music? I see that you live in Peru. Is Greek music known there? Or are you Greek and that's how you know it? I should have said also in my first comment that I like the vid very much and you used great images. I also noticed 1-2 from Thessaloniki. That's where I live.

XD. I'm a Eurovision fan, so I belong to an Spanish Forum, where we can comment ESC all the year. We also organise little contest of all themes by ourselves, we choose songs, we send it to everyone who takes part, we vote and we have a winner! Big greetz from Lima to Thessaloniki!
(there are also the other two vids, pop-rock and fiesta, in my channel XD)
