  • I´ve never cried of anyones death who I never knew, except this amazing man. Cried many times in many days. Not sure why, but there´s just something about this dude...

  • It's not wrong to mourn him, I think. I don't begrudge that of anybody. But every time my mind tries to go in that direction I get sidetracked. "Aren't we lucky though?" I find myself asking. "Aren't we so incredibly fortunate... that he lived at all? And that his work is still with us. Still available for us to appreciate and to enrich ourselves with?"

  • @Wildebeest2008 good idea.. Don't want to forget about this awesome man

  • I want to get a tattoo to remind me of hitchens, his ideas and how he thoughht, he was special to me

  • @nocturnal97 Doesn't it feel wrong that you have been indoctrinated into this? That's why you feel bad. Now that you are not sure of anything anymore, you can start anew. Start reading about things and make up your own mind. Be skeptical about everything.

You ought to emancipate yourself and rise above the childish and medieval claims of religion. Educate yourself. Rationality, skepticism and logic is much better tools for survival than faith. At least I think so.

  • You have to make more videos with Christopher Hitchens. He is a great man and you are a great film maker.

  • I'm a person of religious conviction, but he has instilled in me huge theological doubts. To be honest, I'm not sure about anything anymore. I've grown up in a hugely conservative zeitgeist and somehow I feel like I'm traitorous when I question the beliefs that have been inculcated in me. Yet I suppose God would want people to rationalise their surroundings right?

  • @pololopo23 My good sir, I have never felt more close to a human person than right now. I'll raise a glass of Johnnie Walker Black to you in tears. Thank you.

  • @ageorhymns1 Another great mind. A great mind indeed.

  • Fantastic! What a great, GREAT man, and a beautifully made tribute!

  • @pololopo23 It still brings a tear today.
