sadly i did not... i got the 54 inch G10 and they did not have it in stock... said it would be 1-2 months and i couldnt wait... i just receieved my tv yesterday im in heaven.

did you buy it from amazon? they have it for $1675 no tax, free delivery, and free panasonic blu-ray player.

hey did you experience the rising black levels ? like the black suddenly becomes grayer ? I was considering buying the new G20 but am split between that and a samsung.

@turgore I have. But it seems to come and go at the moment. When i turn the tv on first thing, it is very noticeably lighter, but after a while it seems to settle again. I have had to turn the brightness down a little to get the blacks back to what they were, but obviously I lose some detail in the darker scenes in movies. I won't be recommending panasonic tv's to anyone anymore....

I think so, the contrast is great and the image is very sharp. Some of the freesat channels look a little poor, but I think that is down to the transmission rather than the TV.

Are you saying it has improved - almost to the point of it being no problem anymore since you bought it?

No, If you read my other comments, it was never noticeable anyway. It is most likely down to the digicam that I used.
