  • There's a scene with the girl singing a song while playing the piano. There was another Bonanza episode where a guy was singing an identical song but a few different words. The song this woman is singing goes like this..."early one morning, just as the sun was rising, i heard a madchen sing in the valley below, oh dont deceive me, oh never leave me,..." If anyone knows the name of this song please let me know. Thank you.

  • @TheForzaken1 Early one Morning....Pernell sang it in the Wooing of Abigail Jones and he was trying to teach Hank the guy that was after Abigail how to sing it also....

  • glad you like it! :):)

  • Excellent video. I love Hoyt Axton. Thank you for posting this. I didn't know about this Bonanza episode.

  • @mdhbigdog That was the last episode that was an Adam episode. He left the series after that. Thanks for your kind words!

  • I've seen Bonanza since I was a youth. Then more recently on the oldies TV channels. But it wasn't until just a few years ago while watching this episode with Pernell & Hoyt singing by the fire that I became a Big fan. Thanks for putting the singing parts together for this video.

  • @Pernellsfaithfulfan The last? oh it's so sad :(

  • have anyone the lyrics of these songs???

  • @Pernellsfaithfulfan Yes i finally found it. I've liked this song ever since i heard it in that episode Wooing of Abigail Jones. But i actually liked it better when the guy sang it at the end in the bar. That's the only version i like. Thanks for the info man.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Wow, takes me way back to a better time.

  • Came back to hear this again!
