  • St. Louis looked retarded with red in their jerseys.

  • i always thought it was stupid that he got the captaincy right away.

  • Damn good team the Blues had. Just never could get past the loaded West. Ironically enough it was Gretzky who coughed up the puck to Yzerman and he blasted from center ice to eliminate the Blues in game 7. One of the best hockey games I've ever seen

  • his wife grew up here in st louis, i thought when he was traded here that wayne would stay for good, but meh. keenan being keenan.

  • @carter2 Just like all "potential stars",they're unproven until they go out and prove it.

  • I remember that the NY Rangers were also trying to get him in the trade but wanted Gretzky to sign an extension before they traded for him. That was the smart move.

It turned out even better for them however because St. Louis traded those players and couldn't re-sign Gretzky so NY got him for nothing. Hahaha.

  • Kings basically got nothing because Bruce was totally fucking broke. He couldn't even hardly pay for the hotel rooms during the 1993 Stanley Cup finals.

  • lol kings got FLEECED

  • Thanks to Jack Quinn for pissing off the Babe Ruth of hockey so badly, that he wanted to leave St. Louis. Thanks Jack.
