There's a real danger in making Obama out to be some kind of Godsend or messiah, folks. He's got a shitload of work to live up to those expectations, and in the end he never will. You watch.

Yeah he won, but that's mostly because Americans panicked over the financial crisis. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd need to be investigated for helping to engineer it before the election. McCain and Obama were virtually tied before September 14th, if you don't remember. By all right, Obama should have been way ahead if it's true that McCain was in the party that had fallen out of favor with the American public. Americans will be watching him over the next four years. My prediction: gone in 2012.
