  • Gilmour is a bit shaky on the vocals, but his guitar work is excellent.

  • @HeyJohny4488 i didnt say anything about him 'stealing credit'. and im not disregarding the contributions he made to the band. they would probably be nothing without him. his song writing made them what they are. aside from that, the man doesnt have a lick of musical talent. even his backup band from his solo tours plays nearly all his music. ive seen 4 of his solo tours, and the man hardly touches an instrument. and i am mildly convinced he lip-sync'd his last The Wall tour.

  • It's disgusting that this needs to be said. No, Waters is not an overrated musician who stole anyone's credit. He's a composer, and was mostly responsible for writing the albums at the time: Animals, The Final Cut, The Wall, etc. He proved he can work alone and did a solo career (and actually made good stuff) after leaving PF. I'm not saying the band couldn't survive without him, but to completely disregard the contribution he made to to the band and the music world is really ignorant imo.

  • @impreziv As far as music skills go, Gilmour is indeed the best at the guitar and vocals. But Waters himself admits that Gilmour is much better at singing, plus Waters is mainly a bassist, lyricist and composer. Gilmour carried Waters? Lol, no... it's a fact that the band was never the same (for better or for worse) after Waters left. Which means he greatly influenced Pink Floyd. *continues*

  • @HeyJohny4488 I stand by my comment. writing lyrics is the only true musical talent I have seen from him. he isn't a good vocalist, he doesn't play any instruments very well. David Gilmour carried him the whole time.

  • Good show, btw. Gilmour and Waters are both fantastic, no matter what people say. I don't get these so called "fans" of Pink Floyd bashing Waters just because he is/was a dick. He was basically the brain of PF during their most successful time period, and I want the band to reunite again and hopefully see everyone getting along. R.I.P. Richard Wright and Syd Barrett

  • @impreziv Only good at writing lyrics? What a fucking idiot comment.

  • people saying roger is "out of key" here are wrong. it sounds like he is straining a bit but he got the notes. gilmour on the other hand, listen to 4:10, now that is flat.

  • Would have been ACE if they released this entire performance as a charidee single

  • @zulu547 lol, Rogers even sings his own songs out of key these days. he is just an old man losing his voice.

Gilmour still has his old touch, he and Rick were the true musicians in the group. Roger was just good at writing lyrics. how could you say he is one of the greatest musicians ever? almost all of Pink Floyd's recorded albums actually had Gilmour playing Waters' bass parts, because he was no good at playing, and the band had no patience waiting for him to play a good take.
