Super overkill. Not smart at all. You should follow state laws to preserve for the next generation to enjoy. I love eating crappie, but I would not catch that many. Very disappointed. Thumbs down for overkill
-
senseless careless and no respect for wildlife! what the hell were you thinking? not only did you keep way to many for any reason you can offer, they were mostly dinks! im talking 90% of those were small! not cool dude!

The fact that they could pull out 214 total crappie in one trip makes a point that it could be overpopulated....hell I still can't catch one crappie from shore. I guess I'm not doing it right. Regardless, you should always follow state limit and possession laws when out on the water. In my state this would mean that 10.7 people would have to be in the boat to keep all these. Also the sizes? Barely bigger than the coffee cup? Forget about it, illegal dumbass catch. Arrest/fine this guy.

Even when put in the fridge (Which I dont think you can fit) they spoil fast. Unless you're planning to sell them, not a smart move there.

Crappie are food. I see that you can't read, either.

yes, if you need them to be food, they are food. but you dont think taking that many fish is a LITTLE much??? lol..... you wonder why fish populations are falling almost all over the planet... people take, take, take and take some more.

Crappie populate this lake like hybrid bluegill do most lakes. If you don't thin them out, they are ALL small. We've been fishing in this place more than 20 years and we've been taking.. we've even had a wildlife biologist say "thanks" while he was out surveying the lake.
Controlling overpopulation helps all fish.
