Here's that answer:
"Ottawa Public Health has provided this resident with the most up-to-date information on the City's awareness of, and position on, research conducted about water fluoridation."
-
I keep getting the same answer from Councillors to these questions:
1. the safety of using hydrofluorosilicic acid as a fluoridation product in our municipal tap water
2. the effectiveness of using hydrofluorosilicic acid in reducing tooth decay
3. the adverse health effects of using hydrofluorosilicic acid on parts of our anatomy other than teeth, not summaries, studies, reviews, or list thereof.
-
It is becoming more and more obvious that there is absolutely no valid, tangible, objective, independent, scientific evidence that fluoridation has any benefit in reducing tooth decay, much less stopping it.
After months of letters requesting such information, none is forthcoming. All that I get is platitudes, deferrals, blandishments and empty statements that do not answer my formal questions about safety and effectiveness of use of this acid for fluoridation.

Thank You for the reply about Round Valley water.

@sammyrocksu From the research that I have done, there are very little municipalities in the UK that actually fluoridate. Most of the fluoridation you see is coming from the U.S. Although you more than likely are not fluoridated, it would probably be wise to find your Gov't'l website that refers to the fluoridated areas in your region. U.S. has such a website for those whom would like to search for it. It lists the majority of fluoridated regions and you should be able to locate your area.

The material in this video is an incredible source for battling fluoridation, whether it be in Ottawa, or anywhere else in North America, but especially in Canada. Gilles legal expertise will be a most important component of this battle to stop it all over the country. See our web site, ffo-olf.org, but especially our ACTION PAGE at /ffo-olf.org/takeAction.html
