I've seen a lot of covers for this tune on YouTube. They range, generally, from 'never touch a guitar again' to 'not awful, but this song is not to be treated as 'not awful''.
Your cut is far and away the smoothest, with a few nice bits of original flair. The phase shifter's a -touch- heavy, but you pull it off with a nice full orchestral sound.
