@madabbafan Well said, in fact people like Bush need someone above him to supervise his move and decisions. To much power is granted to the American president, so Canada and UK are a true democracy.

Great symbol of the power of the United Kingdom. Its no wonder the UK is still lingering around the top of nations when they are able to surge forward in democracy yet still keep their old traditions such as a monarchy. Heres to the first constitutional monarchy and any sign whatsoever of a republic! =)

As for the bit about not having traditions, we have some but not as many as you do because we have only been here for some 200 years. You see we became the World Super Power by your mistakes!! HM has more power than you think. She can dissolve parliament and force an election, refuse to grant the royal assent hence vetoing the government etc.
Trust me if having Bush as president is your idea of democracy - you can keep it. We'll stick to our constitutional Monarchy thank you. After all it has served us well for longer than the USA has even existed.
