Leah -- but thats not fair!

Nick -- yeah well ----Leah what happened? [touches a cut on her neck]

Leah -- [zips her jacket up so its covering her neck] nothing

Nick -- is someone hurting you?

Leah -- [shakes her head]

Nick -- are you hurting yourself?

Leah -- no

Nick -- then how did that happen!

Leah -- it just slipped

Nick -- are you sure thats what happened

Leah -- [nods]

Nick -- okay [not believing her]

Leah -- i should get home

Nick -- did you move back for good?

Leah -- no

Nick -- oh

Leah -- but i want to

Nick -- then you should

Leah -- maybe....well ill see you later [starts to leave]

Nick -- i thot you came to see Lillian

Leah -- yeah but you said i cant [goes home]

Nick -- [goes back into the house]

Lilly -- where did you go?

Nick -- nowhere, are you almost done your show?

Lilly -- nope

Nick -- [goes into the kitchen]

Joe -- you have to do something

Nick -- about what

Kevin -- about Lilly!

Nick -- what about Lilly? Shes fine

Joe -- no shes not

Kevin -- Nick letting her get whatever she wants, and letting her do whatever she wants isnt going to make up for Leah being a crappy mom and bailing

Nick -- dont tell me how to raise my kid!

Joe -- Nick we just -----

Nick -- look im doing the best i can! So just back off! [goes up to his room]

Joe -- [sees the envelope that Emma gave him earlier on the table, grabs it] i almost forgot ... [starts to leave]

Kevin -- Joe wait

Joe -- what?

Kevin -- i dont think now is a good time to tell Nick that hes failing all his classes

Joe -- hes what?

WITH LEAH

Leah -- [walks home, goes up to her room]

Ryan -- [laying on her bed, watching tv] hi babe

Leah -- hi [goes over to her closet]

Ryan -- come here baby

Leah -- [walks over to the bed slowly]

Ryan -- [pulls her on, wraps his arms around her waist]

Leah -- Ryan ----

Ryan -- [kisses her]

Leah -- [pulls away] wait ----

Ryan -- [lays her on the bed, gets on top of her]

Leah -- Ryan stop

Ryan -- [takes her jacket off, kisses her neck]

Leah -- stop!

Ryan -- what happened baby? I thot you loved me [kisses her]

Leah -- [turns her head]

Ryan -- [moves his hands up her shirt] tell me you love me

Leah -- [shakes her head, crying a bit]

Ryan -- say it baby, say you love me [kisses her neck]

Leah -- no

Ryan -- say it or youll regret it!

Leah -- [shakes her head]

WITH NICK

Nick -- [sitting on his bed]

Lilly -- [comes in, gives him the tv remote]

Nick -- [puts the remote on the bed, picks her up]

Lilly -- [hugs him] im sorry daddy

Nick -- for what?

Lilly -- for being born [starts crying]

Nick -- what?

Lilly -- i made everything thing badder

Nick -- no you didnt...and badder isnt a word

Lilly -- i made mommy leave....and Addi says your having trouble because of me

Nick -- [hugs her tight] dont ever think that i dont want you okay?

Lilly -- but -----

Nick -- Lillian the day you were born was the best day of my life [kisses her head]

Lilly -- but Joe said -----

Nick -- dont listen to Joe

Lilly -- kay

LATER

Nick -- [walks downstairs]

Kevin -- is she asleep?

Nick -- yeah

Joe -- good

Nick -- did you tell her that i dont want her?!

Joe -- what? No

Nick -- good

Joe -- i told her that i didnt want her here

Kevin -- Joe!

Joe -- what?

Kevin -- shes only three! You cant tell her things like that

Joe -- i was just joking....kinda

Nick -- well she thot she was a mistake

Joe -- she was a mistake

Nick -- no she wasnt!

Kevin -- you guys shut up! I think i heard something outside

Nick -- what? [the door bell rings, he opens the door] Leah?

Leah -- [breathing uneven, holding her stomach, drenched in blood]

Joe -- [runs to the door with Kevin] Leah what happened?

Leah -- i ----- he ----- [falls to the ground unconscious]

Nick -- Kevin call an ambulance!

Kevin -- [runs out of the room to find a phone]

Nick -- [rolls Leah on her back, lifts her shirt up past her stomach, touches the stab mark]

Lilly -- [walks in]

Joe -- Lilly go back upstairs!

Lilly -- [ignores him, sees Leah] mommy?
