First engine start of my '67 GTO project. Engine is a Pontiac 400 block bored and stroked to 463 cubic inches, with a Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam, PRW roller rockers, Kauffman Racing aluminum heads, 3 2-barrel carbs, Hedman Husler headers, and Pypes 3" exhaust with x-pipe and Violator mufflers.

  • how do you like the kauffman heads?are they the d-port head?

  • @upnortd1

So far no complaints with the heads. They are d-ports, 85cc milled to 83cc. Otherwise running them as-cast right out of the box. 10.5:1 compression on pump gas.
