I thought Kakilambe was a teniary (am I spelling that right?) rhythm? You know, 6/8 feel? This sounds like Macru...weird. Either these folks know something we all don't or else they got the name wrong. And Macru is usually played as a transition rhythm from Jankadi. Anyway, I lovetheir spirit! I love seeing women playing drums. Makes me feel like there is something us men have forgotten in our pride and ego-driven culture. They are enjoying themselves without posturing or posing. Free spirits!
