Sega Genesis / Megadrive emulator for the gp2x. The video-out isn't working but runs great otherwise. The same emulator also runs gamegear and SMS / master system games.

  • Where can you buy this?

  • check out the gp2x wiki. it has some good resellers that haven't been edited out by other wiki editors.

  • how many buttons does this thing have?

And what kind of flash mem?

  • It has four A/B/X/Y buttons on the right, two shoulder buttons, and the volume up and down can be remapped. As a matter of fact, in the MAME emulator when you rotate the screen to portrait, the volume buttons become A/B. there are also select and start buttons.

Click on my name and you'll see a gp2x playlist with an overview video.

  • nice video, good range of games. I have to say though you are possibly the worst game player even if you weren't trying. If I tried to play badly I don't think I could play so pathetically - Sonic 2 was the best, you run along and get mashed, reminds me of my 62 year old Dad playing games. Also, between games we can hear you breathing. For any potential 2X customers reading, the freaky breathing sounds are the videomaker's and do not come free with the console - you have to provide your own.

  • LMAO. I wish I can take credit for these videos but I'm simply posting them for the author. Rest assure I'll tell him to cut it out with the stalker breathing!

  • nice test

  • And turn off Caps Lock while you're at it.

  • For potential U.S. buyers microcenter sells them or you can order one from gp2xstore dot com I highly suggest getting the cradle because you can plug in a usb controller (wireless works too)plug it up to the tv and use it as a home console. It is also a media player. With the cradle you can plug in external hard drives or even a psp or ipod for laughs. Main storage is the highly affordable SD card.

  • Hi. There may be some games and emulators by typing in GP2x at wiki or do a yahoo search. The GP2x runs on open source software. Enjoy.

  • were u get this>

  • impressive

  • where do you get one of those?

  • hahahaha ok dude that made me laugh sooo bad!! xDDDD i dont have "gameing expecence" cause i never had sega. learn how to tpe right and we'll talk about experience

  • for most emulators on the gp2x just put the filles on the sd card and play it just like that for the sega and Nintendo emulators but for emulator like mame you need to do some work
