Fleetwood Mac - When The Sun Goes Down - CD+G Edition!

Hello WMG, we meet again it seems! Yeah yeah, I know this is also owned by you, but once again, try finding this on the shelves of HMV today!

To the rest of the world, this is the 7th track from the Fleetwood Mac album Behind the Mask, ripped directly from the 1990 pressing which contained low resolution graphics as well as a regular audio track, on the front of the case there is a sticker that reads:

"This compact disc is one of the first ever to be encoded with CD + Graphics. In addition to carrying a perfect CD audio signal, it also contains a Graphics signal. The Graphics can be displayed on a video monitor or TV set by using an advanced CD player with Graphics capability, or with a CD player connected to a CD Graphics Adaptor.
This compact disc embodies two separate works (one the audio album, the other the Graphics) which can be enjoyed individually or when played simultaneously"

The CD + Graphics system never really caught on, but can still be found in the Karaoke world. An interesting piece of music history!

Thank you for posting this! I also had the CD+G version, but was unable to ever view what was on it! It drove me mad trying to play it on computers or thinking if I hooked my cd player up to the tv I would see something! haha I was much younger then. Are you able to post the rest of the songs like this? That would be awesome!!

I had uploaded a Fleetwood Mac CD+G from Sega CD CD+G Sample and WMG took down too. But the reason they gave was because of an INSOC music there on the video.

There were a LOT of really good songs off of the Behind The Mask album. I especially liked "Love is Dangerous" and "Freedom" which totally smoked. Definitely an underrated album! While we're at it, the other underrated album (in my opinion) is Mystery to Me.
