To isolate sculpted detail on our model and maximize flexibility later in the pipeline, we'll utilize sculpt layers. http://www.autodesk.com/mudbox-trial

  • very good tutorial, but you didnt show how to make the teeth, the wrinckles on the feet. and i keep trying and i just cant get it done. and also the nails,

  • @sk8bamsk8 very carefully

  • @sk8bamsk8 As a separate mesh. A simple cone (with some adjustments) in Maya, then import them to Mudbox.

  • how would you make the teeth?

  • These tutorials have just now, probably saved my ass. I just started college, and I'm set up with basic courses going into, keep in my into, 3D animation...and yea, most of the projects for what sounds like a class that doesn't really have anything to do with actually creating 3D subjects (History of Animation), has more than a couple projects dealing with actually creating 3D models...so thanks AutoDesk, you saved me many internet hours on researching 3D sculpting. :)

  • Best Tutorials Ever

  • Digital Tutors are the best tutors in my opinion :) Very good introduction, thank you.

  • Brilliant work, but may I ask where I find these project files within Mudbox? What is their default file path?

  • very informative.Thankyou!!

  • wtf with the head haha
