Anonymous' Message to the Public

We are the group known as Anonymous, and we are currently at war with the Church of Scientology (CoS). This is not to say that we are fighting against the religion of Scientology, but rather, the corporation extorting those who believe in its ideals. This corporation is using the believers of scientology for its own capital gain, driving many people and families to ruin. It has denied medical service to its participants, resulting in several unnecessary and unusual deaths behind a veil of secrecy. The CoS forces fear upon its members and brainwashes them, and has forced many reports on the subject to go unnoticed by the general public through harassment and legal threats. Through copyright claims, they scare ISP's into taking down sites and media that dare speak out against scientology, forcing evidence of their actions to remain unseen by all but a few.. These actions are unforgivable, and we will make this organization known for what it truly is: a malicious cult with no regard for the lives of its members.

Through copyright claim and legal action the CoS threatens hosts of sites containing opinions opposing Scientology. The CoS exists in a world where religious beliefs are copyright. The CoS exists in a world where words and ideas are the enemy. The CoS exists in a world where money is the prerequisite to enlightenment and learning. The CoS exists in a world where the individual may be violated or murdered for gains of a faceless entity. They now face a foe of the same make: a faceless entity with the resolve to match their own, yet without financial gain at stake, and their secrecy surrounding their sacred documents, the contents of which have been hidden from the public, has been penetrated.

For the past four days (18 Jan 08 - 22 Jan 08) , we have been stopping all traffic to the site in an attempt to gain media attention. There is plenty of evidence out there that the public doesn't know about, and we intend to bring it to light. We have been and continue to fight for our rights and yours, and we will not stop until we are heard. We were the ones responsible for the obstruction of Hal Turner's radio show and the exposing of his true occupation. We unearthed the Canadian Chris Forcand as the pedophile that he was. Our words are not barren, nor our war not in vain. We effect results for we are Anonymous. We are the collective masses of the Internet. We are your neighbors and your coworkers, your doctors, your mechanics, the pedestrians that walk in your city, the people that drive next to you in rush hour. We are your aunts and uncles, your cousins, your brothers, your children.

We do not exist as individuals.
